Job Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming samples in preparation of testing.
Process sample cancellations and resubmissions.
Perform daily sample reconciliation.
Process sample resubmissions and cancellations.
Perform refrigerator, freezer and instrument routine maintenance.
Clean and disinfect work areas, and empty biohazardous waste.

Education:
High School diploma or GED No previous related experience is required SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
Must possess legible and neat handwriting.
Must have basic math and computer skills, effective phone and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have the ability to apply rational thinking and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions.
Must possess the ability to deal with problems within the guidelines of standard operating procedures.
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to toxic and caustic chemicals, cold temperatures ( -200C), and frequently to biological hazards.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
