The Maintenance Business Leader will lead all aspects of the Facilities, Maintenance, and Moonshine (FMM) departments.
This includes personnel, resource allocation, expense and CAPEX Project budgeting, assuring the upkeep of all building and manufacturing assets, assisting in the design and installation of new systems and the day to day operation of the department.
It will entail the direct supervision of three direct reports.
The MBL will work collaboratively with Environmental, Health, and Safety and all other departments.
The MBL will report to the FMM Leader.
This role will also work towards being certified by GE as a Site Security Lead for the facility.
They will be committed to improving the uptime of Equipment and Facility equipment and systems, improving their efficiency while reducing risks and promoting workplace safety.
Essential Functions Lead Facilities, Maintenance, and Moonshine to ensure teams are supporting all assets in the facility Lead Site Security, propose improvements and assure program implementation Forecast Equipment utilization, including participating in designing and developing future production capacities and Develop Maintenance Schedules Set Annual Priorities and Goals for the Department Team and Team members Maintain Budget and planning.
Maintains manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals, etc.
Ensure cross-training of team members Own and implement Security and Facility Framework Elements and or Operating Procedures such as Lock-out-tag out, Electrical Program, Fall protection, etc.
Drive the Maintenance and Reliability initiative focused on Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, not reactive.
Safety champion for the facility Track attendance, OT, and Productivity Coach and counsel employees Conduct Performance Evaluations with Caring Candor Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the maintenance process Observe control points and equipment Problem Solve and implement cost reductions Initiate and foster collaboration within and between departments Ensure employees are properly trained with continuous development Lead lean methodologies Lead operating rhythm and ensure communication flow down Other duties as assigned by leadership Competencies Negotiation Skills Conflict Resolution Critical Thinking Time Management Communication Skills Decision Making Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
