Summary:
This position has the responsibility of ensuring that product manufactured on their assigned shift is defect free.
REPORTS TO:
Plant Quality Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for overseeing the review and audit of product manufactured on assigned shift per customer supplied specifications and quality control plan.
Ensure policies and procedures of company QMS program are consistently met.
Assist in the maintenance and control of mold books.
Responsible for production start-up approval and document sign off.
Routine auditing of product during run and final inspection of product before leaving the facility.
Help to train and assist operators as needed.
Safety and housekeeping.
Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or 3 years in manufacturing experience.
Experience of 1 or more years in manufacturing required.
Knowledge of plastic part quality, injection molding and computer system a plus.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
PHYSICAL:
Must pass physician administered vision test.
Frequent long periods of walking and standing.
Frequent bending and stooping.
Lifting and carrying average to heavy weight (2-40 lbs) materials or objects.
Occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects.
Hand/finger dexterity and coordination.
