Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas. Proficiency in OST/QuickBid software is required for this role.

Key
Responsibilities:

Estimate project costs and prepare bids for commercial drywall projects, including drywall installation, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and gypsum walls.

Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather project requirements and ensure accurate estimates.

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Oversee project execution, including coordinating subcontractors, managing project timelines, and resolving any issues that arise during construction.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Prepare and present project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones, budgetary performance, and changes to project scope.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry, with expertise in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas.

Proficiency in OST/QuickBid software for estimating and project management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately estimate project costs and identify potential risks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Proven track record of successfully managing commercial drywall projects from estimation through completion.

Education:

A degree in construction management, engineering, or a relevant tenured employment experience is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
